WELCOME TO THE PMS CLUB! Yes, I said PMS. It's because we're women, and we need each other, especially when we have problems men and kids just don't understand. But more importantly, we have hearts for Prayer and Ministry, and we're Sisters in Christ. . . The Prayer and Ministry Sisters Club!  Our main topics will include prayer requests from our members and ministry projects as God reveals them to us. These are not necessarily church projects, although your churches are invited to get involved with anything you feel led to share with them. Or you can share your church projects with us. We will also use this as a forum for helping with practical concerns (what comes to mind for me is my lack of housekeeping habits!, well, good ones, anyway!), where we can say, "Hey, how do you all handle this problem. . .?" and we'll all share our best solutions. Family, home, work, organization, finances, the best products to use, beauty routines, PMS problems!!!! You know, all the things we're concerned with on a daily basis; we'll share books, websites, magazine articles, recipes, etc. Membership is voluntary; just email if you want to be on the list. Eventually, with God's blessing, there will be a paper version for those withouth internet access. You are welcome to print this and share it with any women who are interested. We may have meetings, too! Yay, coffee and snacks and PMS sisters!

Some of you may have noticed than when God gives you an idea for ministry, it's sometimes hard to get your church on board. Or maybe you don't feel comfortable making suggestions in church. Or maybe you don't participate in a ministry-minded church. I want you to know that if you've ever read an article, or seen a tv program, or heard of someone in need, and you felt a burden, or if you've ever said to yourself "hey, if only 10 people would give 10 dollars 10 times, that would be a thousand dollars and we could help with that problem!" (this from my 12-year old Ben), then YOU HAVE HAD A MESSAGE FROM GOD! Any chance to bless others is a chance to obey and serve the Lord. We're here to support one another in these efforts! It doesn't have to be a "missionary" or "religious" type of effort; anything to help anybody is an opportunity to spread God's love!

I believe that EVERY idea from EVERY fellow Christian is worthy of support. We should all trust in one another's vision. As long as an idea is biblical, and comes from your heart, then you deserve a chance to see it through. Whether it be prayer, outreach, gifts, monetary help for those in need, missions support, ministry projects for our children to participate in, NO IDEA IS A BAD IDEA. God speaks to all of us. When something is on your heart, that is God speaking to you. We'll start small, but if you've studied Experiencing God, you know that nothing is too big for God. We don't all feel equally strongly about all projects, but hopefully we'll be able to find compatible ministry partners within our ranks!
